Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Hobly app and website, provided by CLIQUE CLO LTD (company number 16683401, 24–26 Regent Place, Birmingham, B1 3NJ, UK) — "we", "us". By using Hobly you agree to them. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where they conflict on the licence to use the app, Apple's terms win.

1. Hobly Pro and free trials

• Hobly Pro is an auto-renewing subscription: £6.99 per month or £29.99 per year (or the local equivalent shown in the App Store), billed to your Apple ID.
• New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. If you join with a friend's referral code, you get the same trial and then the friend price: £4.99 per month or £21.99 per year. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you're charged.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before. Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
• Payments, refunds and any statutory cancellation rights are handled by Apple under its terms. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• We may change prices; Apple will tell you in advance and you can cancel before a change applies.

2. Friend codes and referral earnings

• Each account gets a referral code. A friend who is new to Hobly and enters your code before subscribing gets the friend price above, after the normal 7-day free trial.
• When a friend who used your code pays for Hobly Pro, you earn a cash commission. The full rules, rates and payout terms are in the Referral Programme terms, which form part of these terms.

3. Recipes, prices and nutrition

• Recipes are summarised from public videos by independent creators, with credit and a link to the original. We don't claim ownership of creators' content. Creators who want a recipe removed can email hello@hobly.app.
• Prices are estimates based on published supermarket prices and may differ from what you pay in store. Outside the UK they're approximate.
• Nutrition figures are estimates and aren't medical or dietary advice.
• Allergies: dietary filters and "never include" lists reduce the chance of an ingredient appearing but can't guarantee it. Always check ingredients and packaging yourself.
• Follow safe cooking practice — cook food through and follow appliance instructions.

4. Your content

You're responsible for links and recipes you add. You give us permission to store and process them to provide Hobly to you. Recipes you create stay private to your household.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse Hobly: no scraping, reverse engineering (except where the law allows), interfering with the service, or using it unlawfully.

6. Our liability

We provide Hobly with reasonable skill and care. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that can't be limited by law, and your statutory consumer rights are not affected. Otherwise we're not liable for losses that weren't foreseeable, for business losses, or for price differences at the till, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings (cancel your App Store subscription separately). We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

8. General

We may update these terms and will tell you in the app about important changes. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales; if you live elsewhere in the UK you may also bring claims in your local courts.
