In short

• Your friend gets Hobly Pro for less: £4.99 a month instead of £6.99, or £21.99 a year instead of £29.99, after the usual 7-day free trial. The friend price stays for as long as they keep that subscription.
• You earn 30% of what Hobly receives from each friend's payments during their first 12 months as a paying subscriber. That's roughly £1.06 for every monthly payment and £4.67 for every yearly payment in the UK.
• Cash out to PayPal or a bank account once you have £20 available.

1. Who can take part

• Anyone with a Hobly account who is 18 or over. You don't need to be a subscriber to earn.
• Your code is in the app under Invite friends. Share it however you like, as long as you don't spam, mislead people, or bid on "Hobly" in search ads.

2. Friend price

• A friend qualifies if they're new to Hobly Pro and enter your code in the app before subscribing. One code per account.
• The friend price is charged by Apple through the App Store. Prices outside the UK are the local equivalent shown in the App Store.

3. How your earnings are worked out

• For each payment a referred friend makes, we take the price they paid, remove VAT or sales tax, and remove Apple's commission (currently 15%). You earn 30% of what's left.
• Earnings apply to payments in the first 12 months after the friend's first paid payment. Free trials don't earn anything.
• Only payments Apple confirms count. Earnings show in the app once Apple confirms the payment.
• We may change the rate or the period for future payments with notice in the app. Earnings you've already made keep the rate they were made at.

4. Hold period, refunds and payouts

• Each earning is on hold for 30 days in case the payment is refunded. After that it becomes available.
• If Apple refunds a payment, the earning for it is cancelled. If it had already been paid to you, the amount is taken off your next earnings.
• Once you have at least £20 available, tap Cash out in the app. We send payouts manually, usually within 14 days, to the PayPal account or bank account you give us. You're responsible for giving correct details.
• Payouts are made in the currency you earned in. Any fees your bank or PayPal charges to receive the money are yours.
• You're responsible for any tax on what you earn.

5. Fair use

• Referring yourself, creating fake or duplicate accounts, paying people to sign up, or selling codes isn't allowed.
• If we reasonably believe earnings came from misuse, we may withhold or cancel them, and remove you from the programme.
• We may change or end the programme with reasonable notice. Available earnings at that point will still be paid if they meet the minimum, or within 90 days if they don't.

6. Your data

We store your payout details only to pay you, and only we can see them. Your friends see nothing about you except your code. Referrers only see the first letter of a friend's name. See our Privacy Policy.
